Outdoor Section

The Club’s outdoor green is set in an idyllic rural
village setting, in sight of the local church and close to the river Avon.
Because we have a 6-rink green we can play bowls in
any direction, which ensures an even surface due to wear and tear, by altering
the direction of play and also by moving the rink markers on a regular basis.
The green is normally open from the end of April to the end of
September and members are encouraged to play in friendly matches, leagues and
Club, County and National Competitions as well as against visiting teams.
Indoor Green
The Indoor Green is one of the best
facilities in the area with six heated indoor rinks offering a friendly and
welcoming atmosphere for everyone of all abilities, to enjoy playing indoor
bowls seven days a week from 9.00am to 10.00pm all the year round.
Indoor activities include daytime and evening
club leagues, friendly matches against other clubs, club competitions, National
and County Competitions and National Leagues. There are also a number of friendly
social roll-ups on both Tuesday and Wednesday mornings offering members the
chance to play social bowls in a relaxed and friendly environment or for
members to sign up to play at other times when rinks are available for general
play.
Junior Section

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our Junior Section, specially designed to welcome children and families into the wonderful world of lawn bowls, both indoor and outdoor. Our club is committed to fostering a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment where young players can develop their skills, make new friends, and enjoy a healthy, active lifestyle. With dedicated coaching and engaging activities, the Junior Section offers an exciting opportunity for children aged 8-18 to discover the joy of lawn bowls.
