Lily and Emily Strike Gold at British Bowls Under-25 Pairs Championship

Welford’s own Lily, teamed up with Leamington's Emily and delivered a sensational performance to take home gold in the prestigious British Bowls Under-25 Pairs Championship, sealing victory in style with a dominant 23–8 win over a strong Welsh team in the final.
The pair showcased exceptional skill, teamwork, and composure throughout the tournament, building momentum match by match before delivering a clinical performance in the final. Their commanding win not only reflects their individual talents but also the strength of their partnership on the green.
The final saw them take control early, applying pressure and capitalising on every opportunity. Their opponents, known for their competitive edge, struggled to match the pace and precision of the Welford pair, who kept the scoreboard ticking over with confident, consistent play.
Congratulations, Lily and Emily – Welford is very proud of you!

🎉 Welford Crowned Warwick League Champions! 🏆

After a strong season playing against indoor clubs across Warwickshire, Welford has secured the Warwick Trophy title following a convincing win against Tamworth today!
The Warwick Trophy is a league competition played over two rinks of four players each, with matches held both home and away. It was originally created to encourage club bowlers to experience more competitive games and help develop talent for the county teams.
A huge well done to everyone who has represented Welford throughout the season — your hard work and team spirit has paid off! 👏
New branding

The club has a new look - The branding has been updated to reflect the new objectives of the club.
The new branding is based on the original club logo but giving the symbols of Welford a more up-to-date, modern and contemporary feel.
Simplifying the crest design containing the 4 symbols gives the branding a stronger more impactful feel.
