Welford Bowls Club is a friendly club, catering to all levels of bowling ability, with excellent facilities including six outdoor rinks.
Function Room
The Club has a large function room with a seating capacity of up to 80 guests and a large car park.
The facilities can be hired by members and non-members for an event - whether a family party, charity event, a quiz night, disco or perhaps a meeting. The room can also be set up as a skittle alley for a fun social event.

Welford School Enjoys Bowls Experience
We have been delighted to welcome pupils from Welford School as part of their PE lessons over recent weeks. The school has now completed two of their six scheduled PE lessons at the club, giving children the opportunity to experience the sport of bowls in a friendly and supportive environment.
The sessions have been met with great enthusiasm from the pupils, who have shown real enjoyment and engagement throughout. It has been fantastic to see the children getting involved, learning new skills, and having fun!
The club would like to extend a huge thank you to all the volunteers who generously gave up their time to help run the sessions. Their support and encouragement have been key to making the experience such a success.
This initiative has already had a positive impact, with a noticeable increase in attendance at the club’s Sunday morning junior sessions. It has been wonderful to see so many new faces coming along and continuing their bowls journey.
We look forward to welcoming the school back for the remaining PE sessions and building on this successful partnership.
